CENTIPEDESTRIPE of RUNNINGCLAN

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Centipedestripe is a muscular, broad-shouldered cat with large paws, and a long, fluffy tail. Their fur is medium length, except at the tail. Their pelt is white, splotched with a deep brown tabby pattern. Their eyes are large and golden colored, but slightly narrowed, giving them a constantly serious appearance. Their nose is bright pink.
PERSONALITY
- ENERGETIC & RESTLESS- From kit to warrior, Centipede has always displayed constant energy. They even have trouble sleeping due to their amount of energy. They prefer to be one of the cats that focuses on their speed, running in short bursts with minimal pauses in between to regain their strength.
- HELPFUL & HONEST- Due to how active they are, and how quickly they tend to perform their duties, Centipede enjoys helping others out with things, such as constructing nests to provide warmth for sleep, or assisting the medicine cat with collecting herbs. They feel guilty when they tell a lie, and usually does as much as they can to avoid needing to.
- OUTSPOKEN & HOTHEADED- Not every cat is perfect. Centipede is a little inconsiderate when it comes to other's feelings, but it's because they generally fail to recognize it when others are upset with them in the first place. They speaks their mind despite some of the things they say possibly being offensive to others. They also have a bit of temper, getting upset easily. However, when they snap, they calm down just as easily as they get upset.
- FLIRTY & RESPECTFUL- Centipede is a bit of a flirt. They'll flirt with anyone, whether they're a tom, she-cat, or anything outside the binaru. Despite being a little inconsiderate, they can notice when they're making someone uncomfortable, and will try to direct the situation to a more preferred topic.
- CAN BE SERIOUS- Overall, Centipede is an excitable, fun-loving cat. They are able to recognize serious situations, though, and their personality can change greatly in dire situations. However, more serious situations bring out their more negative traits, like their hotheadedness.
HISTORY
YOUR HISTORY POINTS START HERE
- Born to Lizardstrike and Poplarbark, Centipedekit was birthed in leaf-bare along with their two siblings, Mosskit and Briarkit.Their parents were fighting very much around the time they were born, and the fact that it was leaf-bare didn't help. They and Mosskit immediately became ill with whitecough, which very rapidly developed into greencough. With excessive care, Centipedekit was able to survive - unfortunately, Mosskit was not. The death of a kit in their first litter ultimately brought Lizardstrike and Poplarbark to their separation. Centipedekit continued to persevere with Briarkit, their sister. There were no other kits in the nursery at the time, leaving them to only have each other to play with.
- Come apprenticeship, Centipedepaw's mother had died. Their father did not participate in their life as their mother was their rightful caretaker, and they only had Briarpaw to rely on. It was a devastating tragedy that let the usually upbeat cat depressed, slowing the progression of their training. Centipedepaw would receive their warrior name later on than a typical apprentice due to this. Lizardstrike also soon passed from age, but this had no affect on Centipedepaw.
- Throughout apprenticeship, the medicine cat seemed to obsess over Briarpaw. She was constantly being taken into the medicine cat den, where she would stay for a day or two before returning to training. Centipedepaw noticed how she had sudden, long stops during the days they worked on their speed together - she would collapse to the ground, stumbling over her paws, and inhale shakily, abnormally. Centipedepaw didn't understand what was wrong with their sister, but they knew it was bad. Occasionally, they had to take her back to camp themself.
- One cruel moon, the vicious heat of greenleaf was unbearable. Briarpaw had collapsed again, her breathing shallow and unsteady. She couldn't even stand. The incidents were becoming more frequent, lasting longer, and taking longer for Briarpaw to recover. On a fateful day, Centipedepaw was informed that Briarpaw had a breathing sickness. They were also told that she had passed away. Centipedepaw lashed out emotionally at the warrior who told them, accusing them of lying, etc.
- It was another thorn in the paw that hurt Centipedepaw, but this time, they pushed through it, trying to get over Briarpaw's death so soon after their mother's. They received their warrior name, Centipedestripe, at fourteen moons. They have since continued to live in RunningClan as a warrior.

Centipedestripe prefers THEY/THEM pronouns, but OCCASIONALLY uses HE/HIM.
Briarpaw had ASTHMA.
